How I've been helping others...

 Young Woman Contemplating

stuck, stagnated, struggling?

...you don't have to feel that way. There are ways to reach your deepest inner self without (or in addition to) 'talk and thought therapies' ...

sometimes, we need to dig beyond our symptoms and deal with what's at our roots...

...facing what we don't know we're avoiding is how we become unstuck...

once we go beyond our surface emotions, we can work with our primary emotions...

...for example, beneath our anger and fears could be things like grief or shame...

My Unique Approach

As a trauma-informed, certified life coach, my practice uses a co-active approach. This means I don't consider myself 'the expert' but rather your guide in helping you find your own solutions. I've been using powerful exploratory journaling techniques (expressive, reflective and art journaling) to help others reach the deeper parts of who they are, both what's lurking in their body (central nervous system) as well as their mind. This collaborative approach, focuses on you, as a whole person with all of the unique elements in your life.

I've built my practice around what worked for me with my own 'self excavation'; combining research from leading experts, my background in neuropsychology & CBT, a variety of journaling & somatic techniques, and narrative therapy.

My strongest influencers of late include but not limited to: IFS research & theory, Jungian Therapy (art therapy and dream analysis), Attachment Theory, and any work by Gabor Mate, Bessel van der Kolk (Neuropsycho-biology), Nicole LePera (and other holistic psychologists) and all of the recent work around dysfuntional family dynamics and Naricissistic Personality Disorder.

I urge clients to consider a multitude of self directed approaches and feel the best part of my offering is as an aggregator for all of the choices available to us. It can be overwhelming (it sure was for me) and it takes learning and applying several theories and practices. But, it's worth it to feel 'that shift' of stepping into your authentic self; Finally having the agency and capacity to live an intentional life.

these are the shifts my clients have been making lately...
